Horn and bone are traditionally considered as classical, noble and elegant materials for the well-dressed wardrobe. Horn button colors vary from black to brown to blonde whereas natural bone buttons are often off-white. Today, various techniques have been applied to give them a makeover/vintage look. The popularity of these buttons are still growing. Our horns and bones are collected from buffalos or cattles destined for human consumption to ensure that we make the best use out of their remains.
Glittering with charming iridescence, shell buttons (or mother-of-pearl buttons) available in our collection are exceedingly diverse, ranging from classic to decorative styles. You can always find something from our range for your shirt, blouse, suit or sweater. We ensure that the shells we use are either cultured or non-endangered species. We also have ready stock and well-connected networks to ensure sufficient shell supply to accommodate large orders, even in unforeseen situations.
Displaying aesthetically pleasing and unique grains for each and every button when dyed, corozo has been considered as one of the most popular button materials in the fashion and apparel industry. Corozo buttons are highly processable. They are amenable to dyeing, burning, polishing and dry-cleaning. Corozo is also completely biodegradable and commercially sustainable, making it one of the most sought-after button materials for many branded apparels.
Wood buttons can come in varying colors and textures in our collection and are made from different kinds of wood collected from managed forests. Coconuts are harvested from coconut palm trees which can be found ubiquitously in the tropic area. Wood and coconut both give a strong natural or ethnic feel. Similar to horn and bone, they can be processed to give a distressed finish. However, dry clean is only possible in their greige state.
Urea is the most upscale resin materials with many desirable properties. They are hard, dry cleanable, anti-ultraviolet proof, wear-, impact-, heat- and fire-resistant. In addition, modern manufacturing methods allow urea to imitate the grains of natural corozo and horn. Thus, urea buttons are often the primary choice for mass suit production. By utilising the unique properties of urea, we have developed our very own button collection that will surely help put a finishing touch to your design.
Polyester is the most versatile material to imitate natural effects such as mother-of-pearl, horn, corozo, wood, coconut, turtle, etc. The vast patterns that polyester resin can create coupled with its compliance with many garment tests make it literally the most used button material today. Their omnipresence can be found from shirts, pants, jackets, suits, sweaters, overcoats, uniforms, fashion accessories, toys to even gifts and premiums.
This category comprises of jeans buttons, rivets, grommets, sew-on buttons, different types of snaps and metal closures that are typically made of brass, steel or zinc alloy. The design and finish of this range can be very intriguing and diverse. From vintage to high glossy finish, and from simple geometrics to amorphous shapes, we are capable of handling myriad designs. You may want to discuss with one of our product consultants to see how we can make your design come true.
Metal accessories play a very important role in accessorising a range of garments and fashion accessories. Whether it be an antique-brass metal plate on a leather patch of a jacket or an enamelled rack-plated metal tag on a lady's handbag, we are here to make your project a success. Our styling team comes up with a collection each season to provide you with all the inspirations you may need to kick off your new development.
Buttons made of a combination of materials can give accessories serendipitously interesting looks. The discovery of a particularly good-looking combination button is, however, not easy. Our in-house design team devotes many painstaking hours and resources in developing a collection that you now see in our seasonal presentation.
